Waste Free Santa Cruz is a new volunteer organization that is looking for solutions to the waste that is produced locally, in our Santa Cruz community.
We are lucky to be living in a place where people care deeply about their environment and our beautiful ocean.
But there is a lot to do to make a waste free Santa Cruz a reality. Did you know that over the Covid years we generated in 3 years as much waste as we normally do in 10 years? Waste Free Santa Cruz is searching for solutions with a priority on:
- promoting reuse and repair
- reducing single use plastic
